media artist, engineer and researcher. She holds an MA in Digital Arts from Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona (2009) and a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2006). She currently pursues a PhD on media art at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean. Caterina has worked as an adjunct lecturer at the department of Digital Arts & Cinema of NKUA, and at the Master in Digital Art Forms of the Athens School of Fine Arts. Her artistic practice combines interactive installations and performances, real-time audiovisual generation, algorithmic video and urban interventions.
